Professional Career
Dan Dokovic is a Founder and Managing Principal of Bamboo Equity PartnersTM. Dan is responsible for managing all aspects of Bamboo’s business and investment activities as well as implementing Bamboo’s strategic objectives. In addition to his management duties, Dan works on engagements across the company including acquisitions, strategic planning, project development, portfolio optimization and real estate technologies.
Dan brings 14 years of corporate and institutional asset management for organizations such as TA Realty, Edward Jones, Cognizant and Sun Life Financial. His extensive experience of managing institutional real estate investments has lead him to develop a proprietary approach to investing in real estate assets that are mostly ignored by institutions and large private equity investors. Bamboo Equity Partner’s Bamboo Micro Opportunity Fund I and II, LP® invest in value-added office and industrial assets that are below $10 million in purchase price and therefore under the radar of institutions due to high transaction costs. Over his career he has completed more than $1.35 billion in real estate transactions.
Dan is a frequent contributor to Forbes Magazine, composing articles regarding commercial real estate trends that are shaping our nation. He is a member of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), as well as a member of the St. Louis Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), a global leadership community that employs over 22 million people around the globe and contributes over $9 trillion in revenue to the world economy.
