Professional Career
Alice C. Benner, Principal and Managing Director of Bamboo Equity PartnersTM, is responsible for overseeing all new equity and real estate investments as well as strategic asset management of the existing portfolio of properties.
Her more than fifteen years of experience started at Colliers Turley Martin Tucker where she managed a commercial real estate portfolio located across the Saint Louis metro area. From there, she became a financial analyst at TriStar Properties overseeing new acquisitions and presenting strategic development recommendations to the investment committee. Most recently, Alice was an advisor to high-net-worth families with Alvery Bartlett Group, helping identify investment opportunities in hard asset classes such as real estate, energy and natural resource portfolios.
A native Saint Louisan, she is active in marketing to the community with investor education events, in addition to serving as a visiting professor for her alma mater, the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she graduated with honors. She is a licensed Missouri Real Estate Salesperson as well as licensed to sell life, annuity, long term care, accident and health insurance, and a notary public.
Alice has many philanthropic interests. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) St. Louis and is an active member of EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization) St. Louis. She is a former board member of the Cancer Support Community of St. Louis, as well as Southside Early Childhood Center, where she served on many committees. In addition, she was a Founding Member of the St. Louis Young Ambassadors for Opportunity (YAO). Alice resides in Creve Coeur where she serves on the City Council for Ward 3.
