Value Added Strategy

Properties in the need of:

  • Repositioning and strategic capital improvements to enhance or reinforce the property's desirability to tenants within the market
  • Active leasing of vacant and rollover space to credit tenants at market-leading rental rates and terms
  • Operating improvements that reduce operating costs, increase energy efficiency, and improve sustainability
  • Redevelopment and select development when appropriate given market conditions

Specific examples of value enhancement include: strategic capital investment; implementation of cost reduction programs; redevelopment and repositioning projects to enhance leaseability including change of use; purchase, workout or restructure of defaulted debt; recapitalizations; and high-yield mortgage loans.

Bamboo Equity Partners invests in row and permanent cropland, acquiring properties typically valued at greater than $1 million. We lease row crop properties that can be expected to generate attractive current income returns and make opportunistic investments in permanent crop farmland.

We analyze the type of commodity grown, quality and location of the property, micro climate factors, strength of local infrastructure and tenant markets, and finally environmental stewardship.

Bamboo Equity Partners strategy is to diversify by geography and crop type in order to create the optimal risk/return profile.

Areas of consideration include Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and finally California.
